1hour and 30 minutes painting study at a coffee shop. I am gonna try and do one a day.

117 B Final

These are three pieces I did for my final in 117 B this semester. The project was, the Adams family goes to visit their rich relatives that are ashamed to be ghouls. We were suppose to design an exterior, and two interiors of the kids rooms. There's still stuff I need to fix. Suggestions are always welcome :)

Advance 117:Fish Project

This is some of the stuff turned in for my advance 117 class. Our project was to design this RV that this old man named Sam lived in. The RV was suppose to be filled with aquatic life, a place he calls his home, and the circus that he works at was something he had grown to hate. The direction I took with the story was, Sam was mourning the loss of his wife that died in accident in one of their acts. His RV is filled with fish tanks and such because that was his wives obsession. I designed the inside and outside RV, a ticket booth, and some props. The props and comps that I designed were not nearly as finished as these. I am planning going back in and tweaking these and finishing the props. Post your feed back if you have any :)

so, here is some speed paintings i kept forgetting to post! there are some more that are studies but i wasn't as focused or as into them....these are all from movie shots! I am trying to paint shapes, value, and edges...ack...any crit or advice would be really helpful.

Speed Paintings 022, 023, and 024

here are three paintings! the last one is today, the second one is yesterdays, and the last one is the day before yesterdays! the bolt one is from the art of bolt, it was about a 45 minuate, the other two is from a photo and they are both 1hour studies. Crit away! :)

The first speed paint was from another monster inks concept art! the second one is of family member sleeping on the couch. That one was very quick, don't like it as much and values are not good.

Speed paintings 016, 017, 018, 019 etc

Fell behind with the speed paintings, but now I am trying to get back on them. These are all 30 minute studies. the first three are color copy studies from the art of monster inc! :) I thought it would be a good idea to study and try to copy two big studies that I liked, and do a mini study of their color script. I feel like i really helped with composition, and also colors I rarely use. The last one is from my Friend Lou's photo album! :) Crit away!
